Teri's Place
Although I love reading others' fantasies about castles, dungeons, and towers. I think few places are as mysterious and scary as a house. Yes, just a plain ole house. A house out in the country sandwiched between farms. Where the breeze picks up and twirls the dust and a human scream might not be heard by distant neighbors.
I used to dreams at night about finding some completely new part of the house I never knew existed. A doorway under the basement stairs that I never noticed before. A loose panel in a closet. A partitioned off portion of the attic. Somewhere a forbidden treasure to be discovered.
I mean really. What actually caused that stain on part of the basement floor you were told was spilled paint. Why does the one trunk in the attic have a padlock. You know there is more than just underwear in some of those dresser drawers. And where did all this meat suddenly come from?
Yes, a plain ole house can have lots of stories to tell. Stories people may not want others to hear. Besides they say to write what you know. I don’t know castles and dungeons, but I do know houses. Explore at your own risk.

Attic - This is where we store our accumulated collectibles. Old detective and war story magazines. Maybe a few comic books.
Closet Space - A safe convenient place to conceal our secrets and hidden desires.
Woodshed - Sneak out for a smoke, swap some stories and maybe play a little slap-n-tickle. Besides that’s where we have the barbie doll tied to a log about to be cut in half by a saw blade.
Studio - Miscellaneous junk and works in progress.
Kitchen - Hmmmm. Who's cookin'.
Basement - Oh, no, don't go there.
Bad things happen down there.

A tribute to my gracious host and other residents of "NecroBabes."
