The cloak of darkness lay cold and still upon the face of the deep
when the darkness split wide and poured unholy light upon the chaos
the starry womb burst forth with the seeds of the damned
and creation unfolded of heaven and of earth and of the underworld
the sea lapped upon the shores of the Garden of Wickedness and Delight
where the Tree of Knowledge and of Life buried deep its immortal roots
into the fertile bloody soil.It was there that the goddess-snake, the demoness, O Queen of Night
was born of clay and fashioned by the immortal hands of the Lady of the Abyss
into a beauty-beast of raven wings and hair of soot and sable with moon-kissed flesh
her eyes of precious stone that held storms in their depths
her lips of blood that were made to devour and to kiss
whose breath howled with hurricane force and could bring a beast to its knees. And, then the mortal one awoke
the one fashioned from blood and sweat and tears
and he was infantile and brazen and inferior
he was filled with jealousy and wept for a beast to lie with
one to comfort him and give him worship for all the days of his life
and he saw the beauty-beast with raven wings
her snake-coiled body entwined around the sacred tree
and he commanded her to lie with him in the garden. But the Mother of Demons refused to be his wife
for she was the serpent who could not be charmed
so he tried to compel her to obedience by force
but she fought him in a rage and tore at his eyes and hair with demon claws
then wild like the wind she flew off past the edge of the garden
and fled into the wilderness where the sea of blood lapped at the shore
and the moon was full in the twilight purple shadows. There the wind whispered in her ear and told her
to drink of the blood of the sea and eat the flesh of the earth
it told her to open her mouth to its breath
and then she copulated with sea, the earth and with the wind
whose warm fingers caressed her flesh and tousled her ebon hair
whose wet lips and tongue drank her honey dew and kissed her sweet moist darkness
whose sand dunes lay beneath her trembling and undulating
and she knew the depths of pleasure and desire. Then she lay down in the sands and the earth swallowed her
where she would hatch and brood in its deepest shadow
and she slept to dream a thousand dreams of lust
where she copulated with man and beast
and drank the blood of the innocent and ate their flesh
where she seduced their dreams and stole their sleeping breaths.Once she awoke a new day had dawned and the world was unknown to her
the earth split wide like a beautiful bloody wound
and she spilt forth like an angry seed from a ripe fruit reborn
her demon-spawn erupted with her from the blackest of wombs
like fireflies that fill the night with demon starlight and gossamer wings
and they were her sisters like her filled with wantonness and lust
succubi of seduction who longed to drink blood thirsty like water
and hungered to steal the seed from men.But they were the cursed ones and cast out from the Garden of Wickedness and Delight
so they disguised themselves as harlots and whores and provocative virgins
wrapped in gossamer fabrics they revealed their luscious curves
with hair like golden strands and ebon silk and fiery fleece
with lips full with red ripeness and tongues like waves of gyrating serpents
their eyes like jewels that held storms in their depths. So, they set off upon the world to seduce mortals as they slept
and Lilith, the first daughter of Hecate, the Goddess of Temptation
spread her wings and flew to the place were the flesh was thick with want
where monuments built by the hands of man rose like shiny phallics into the sky
where artificial light filled the darkness
and the machine rumbled underground like a living beast. She stole into an open window that lured her with its sleeping breath
a shadow in the deepest dark that oozed and crept and slithered
there she saw the beautiful flesh where currents of blood flowed with life
the soft supple flesh that was easy to pierce and to gnaw and to bite
and her blood-red mouth opened to phallic fangs. She tore off her gossamer silks and stood naked in the artificial moonlight
her flesh cold and pale like death, like bone bleached by sunlight, sand and tides
then she slithered over the reclining body of the one who slumbered
and stranded him upon his chest holding his arms behind his head
she passed through the walls of ether in his mind and walked silent through his dreamscape
she sang like a nightingale's sweet mournful ballad, like a Siren's deadly song
seducing him with erotic fantasy and nightmare rapture that moved and stiffened his loins
as she planted herself upon his throbbing organ she impaled him with her teeth
drinking of his blood and his seed and of his dreams and his breath
draining him of life and spirit and soul and flesh. Her victim awoke to find he was restrained and paralyzed be an unseen force
the smile of ecstasy quickly vanishing from his sighing lips
and he struggled against the darkness, against the lust that bound him
he struggled against the dreams of passion that would make him slave
but the demoness was strong with greed and lust and covetness
and held him secure with the weight of her full blooming breasts
his limbs battled frantically but only tangling in her hair
and her laughter howled like a thousands wolves in unison.Soon his body tired and weakened, drained of blood
and his eyes that once held life glossed over with death
his body ceased to breath and his heart ceased to beat
and he lay cold and limb and pallid beneath her
she smiled a wry and evil smile of one much satisfied
and licked the droplets of blood like dew from his pale throat
she kissed his cold blue mouth and sucked his tongue from the depths
a trophy she would savor when the dawn awoke to steal the night
then she slithered from him and moved like wreaths of smoke
through the window and back into the deadly night. So when you dream dreams of desire and nightmare passions
and when your limbs are paralyzed with fearful lust
know that she walks sleepless and silent amidst the living
as the moonlight glistens through your window shade at night
know that she will drink the blood and spirit from your mortal tomb
and steal your breath with the darkness blood-stained kissed
for you will wake no more to the living
but dream the dream of the eternal dead.
